The Truth About My Loose Skin, Plastic Surgery Rumors & Why I Still Wear a Bikini
Aug 18, 2025
When you share your life and your body publicly for two decades online, you quickly learn that people will have opinions. Some kind. Some cruel. And some that cut so deep, you wonder if people remember there’s a real human being on the other side of the screen.
Lately, as my 100-pound weight loss journey has been shared more widely, I’ve seen an uptick in hateful and false comments from people who clearly haven't followed me since the beginning:
“She must have had a tummy tuck.”
“There’s no way she doesn’t have surgery scars — prove it.”
“That much loose skin doesn’t just disappear.”
“She’s lying. It has to be Ozempic + surgery.”
The list goes on.
I’ll be honest: it hurts. Not because the rumors are true (they’re not), but because I’ve spent the last 2 decades of my life as a health & fitness professional being radically transparent about my body — showing up in a bikini at every weight, shape, and size — so other women don’t feel alone in theirs.
Let me be clear about one thing:
I am not here to criticize women who choose plastic surgery or weight loss medication.
If that’s your path — if that’s what feels right and sustainable for your health, your life, and how you feel about your body — I support you 100%. π
But for me? That was never going to be my story.
And because I’ve built my business — and my relationship with YOU — on transparency, it’s important that the truth about my journey doesn’t get erased or rewritten by false rumors from small-minded, gossipy, jealous people on the internet.
Spreading lies about my body, my choices, or how I’ve achieved my results isn’t just cruel — it’s harmful. In fact, when those rumors cross the line into defamation or the misuse of my image, I’ve already shown I will take action to protect myself, my brand, and this community from malice and/or the reckless disregard for the truth.
Transparency is the foundation of everything I’ve built as the founder of BIKINI BODY MOMMY. The women who follow me — and trust me — deserve honesty, not fabricated narratives. And I won’t stand by and allow those lies to become the “truth.”
Here’s the truth about my body:
I have loose skin.
I have stretch marks.
I have the “mom pooch” from carrying six babies.
Do you always see it? No. It depends on what I’m wearing and how much skin is showing.
Fully dressed, I look like a busy mom of six going about her day. In workout clothes filming real-time workouts for members of my app, you see strength, tone, and muscle through movement. And when I step into a bikini to inspire women everywhere, you see all of it — the loose skin, the stretch marks, the imperfections.
And here’s the truth: I’m not ashamed of any of it.
Because what matters most isn’t chasing “perfect.” What matters most is building something REAL. Something that actually lasts.
Proving I haven't gone under the knife
Last week, I shared a reel on social media, where I put on my bikini and showed the world exactly what my body looks like right now underneath my clothes. I did this in celebration of the three year anniversary of having started my health journey, but more to celebrate my transformation specifically over the last year in which apparently my body has begun looking SO GOOD, my results could only have been achieved by having gone "under the knife."
In the video, I included recent hateful comments from social media that were timestamped to address and shut down the rumors I've had plastic surgery. In the video I shared what my body looks like everyday in workout clothes vs. wearing a bikini. As I've vulnerably done for the last two decades, I put my body, lose skin, stretch marks, and imperfections on full display!
If you haven't watched the video yet, you can find it HERE.
And just to address another rumor I’ve seen floating around — the idea that I could have pre-filmed content before having plastic surgery and am only now releasing it to “pretend” this is my current body.
You’re absolutely right, people do that. But that’s not me.
For nearly two decades, I’ve built my business based on the transparency of filming and posting all of my content in real time. That is what has made BBM different on DAY ONE from other box name corporate fitness companies, and it's why I've continued the process of time-stamping every single one of my real-time workouts, LIVE coaching events, and personal check-in videos that have documented my three-year transformation, IN REAL TIME.
I understand the skepticism, because what you see on social media isn’t always the whole picture — but if you know ME, then you know that I am committed to showing the whole picture because I refuse to let anyone believe my transformation came without "imperfections" at any stage of the process.
The video showing what my body looks like present day, after losing 100-pounds and maintaining it for a year, wasn’t pre-recorded — it was both filmed and publicly posted on the very same day: July 31, 2025. (See video below for timestamped proof that the body I’m showing online is my body, present day.) π«Άπ»

Why I go the extra mile to prove I'm the real deal vs. ignore the haters:
Because I believe integrity is everything. Because too many women feel broken by their weight and disgusted by their loose skin, stretch marks, and mommy-belly so they hide their bodies. Because too many women think they’re the only ones who don’t “bounce back.”
And when they see me, they deserve to know the full truth: my body is real, imperfect, and a living testimony to what’s possible when you choose consistency over quick fixes.
No, I didn’t take Ozempic. No, I didn’t go under the knife. I rebuilt my health, my fitness, and my body naturally — as a 43-year-old, perimenopausal mom of six — over the last three years (August 2022–August 2025) through:
-
Prioritizing my hormone health (without medication, diets, or gimmicks)
-
Progressive overload strength training (in 20-30 min per day/ 4 days per week)
-
Balanced, realistic nutrition
-
Support and accountability inside my BBM community
-
And most importantly… with time, patience, and sustainability
Loose skin isn’t failure.
It’s proof of growth. Proof of healing. Proof of change. Proof of LIFE lived.
And if showing mine helps even one woman stop feeling ashamed of hers, then every cruel comment was worth it.
So here’s my promise: I’ll keep showing up. I’ll keep being transparent. And I’ll keep reminding you that you don’t have to “bounce back” to be worthy of wearing the bikini, taking the photo, or living fully in your body.
You’re not alone.
