The Truth About My Loose Skin, Plastic Surgery Rumors & How I Actually Transformed My Body

How a 43-year-old, perimenopausal mom of six lost 100 pounds and completely transformed her body naturally — no surgery, no meds, no quick fixes.

But lately, as my 100-pound weight loss journey has been shared more widely, I've seen an uptick in hateful and false comments from people who clearly have not been following me since the beginning:

“No way that skin just disappeared.”
“It has to be Ozempic + surgery.”

Here’s the truth: I didn’t have plastic surgery. I didn’t take weight loss drugs.

On July 31, 2025, I filmed and posted a video online showing my present day body –– loose skin, stretch marks and all –– clothed vs. wearing a bikini.

 

Here's The Truth:

I’m a 43-year-old, perimenopausal mom of six who rebuilt her health and lost 100-pounds in the process, naturally, over the span of three years (August 2022–August 2025) — documenting every step and mis-step of my journey along the way!

This wasn’t my fastest transformation — but it was my most sustainable. I did it without medication, diets, surgery, or quick fixes.

I know when someone loses 100 pounds, it’s only natural for people to wonder: What does her body really look like now?

Here’s the reality:

  • I have loose skin.

  • I have stretch marks.

  • I have the “mom pooch.”

Do you always see it? No. It depends on what I’m wearing and how much skin is showing.

Fully dressed, I look like a busy mom of six going about her day. In workout clothes filming real-time workouts for my app, you see strength and muscle tone through movement. And when I step into a bikini to inspire women everywhere, you see all of it — the loose skin, the stretch marks, the imperfections.

And here’s the truth: I’m not ashamed of any of it.

Because what matters most isn’t chasing “perfect.” What matters most is building something REAL. Something that actually lasts.

I've spent the last two decades of my life as a health and fitness professional being radically transparent about my own health journey as a woman with six kids, who, despite her profession, gains a lot of weight in pregnancy and even more while breastfeeding. 

As a fitness professional, I broke the internet 13 years ago when I made it my mission to show up in a bikini at every weight, shape, and size as "Bikini Body Mommy" online filming real-time, "done-with-you" health & fitness programs that were relatable for the everyday mom juggling between doing workouts and folding laundry in her living room between nap times.

No, I didn't workout in a bikini. I've only ever worn them during vulnerable personal check-ins on social media over the years in an effort to use my flaws and imperfections to empower other women to see that the bikini was never about having the "perfect body." The bikini is simply a symbol of confidence — which you can embody regardless of your weight, shape, or size.

How I Really Lost 100 Pounds (and Kept It Off)

I didn’t do anything extreme.
I didn’t starve myself or spend hours in the gym.

Instead, I focused on:

  • Prioritizing my hormone health (without medication, diets, or gimmicks)
  • Progressive overload strength training (20–30 minutes a day)

  • Balanced, realistic nutrition (no diets, no gimmicks)

  • Hormone health first (instead of ignoring the root causes of fatigue, cravings, or plateaus)
